A mistake might not be a mistake. You might think you should have done this or shouldn't have done that. But it would be better to ask what advantages your already-done deeds give you and exploit them in the present. The architect Bonano erected a freestanding bell tower for a cathedral, but he made it on soft subsoil — a bad mistake which made the tower lean over. That mistake created a large tourist industry and put the town on the map.

MoodRaiser.com: Reframing a Disadvantage and Making the Best of Trouble
WILLIAM COLEMAN HAD ONLY fifty percent of normal vision in one eye and only twenty-five percent in the other. The year was 1899 and although the electric light bulb had already been invented, not many people had one because electricity wasn't available in many places. Even with electricity, the light bulbs in those days weren't very bright. As a law student, the only way William could study at night was to have his parents read his texts to him.

Healing Music
Scientists found that after listening to just 50 minutes of uplifting dance music, the levels of antibodies in volunteers' bodies increased. They also found that stress hormone levels, which can weaken the immune system, decreased after being exposed to the music.Volunteers who played a percussion instrument along with the music also benefited from the immune boost. The researchers, from Sussex University and the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig, Germany, say their findings demonstrate how music could be used to help aid patients' recovery while in hospital.

Say Goodbye to Bad Habits
Everyone has habits they think of as “bad” or wish they didn’t have. A habit is simply a thought or action you’ve been doing over and over again to the point where you no longer think before you do it. So… if we’re going to get rid of the “bad” habits we’ve got to look at a few things.
Before you can stop a bad habit, you have to first figure out why you’re doing it. Are you bored, frustrated, anxious, sad or depressed? Are your bad habits triggered by certain events in your lifestyle?
For example, do you overeat when you sit down to watch television or bite your nails when you’re nervous or anxious? Only after you’ve identified why your bad habits are taking over your life (or at least making you miserable and keeping you from enjoying as much of life as you could) can you wage an effective war with them.

Inspired Work: Working Harder is the Lazy Way to Go | Tama Kieves
It’s lazy-minded to work harder.
It’s the old way. It’s what you know. It gives you the feeling of accomplishing something, getting somewhere, and you know, being in control. Ooh la la.
Only it doesn’t work on an inspired path. Churning things out is not the same thing as burning with desire. Going through the motions is going through the motions. It’s not going through turnstiles. It’s not going through stories, veils, stratospheres, and galaxies. It’s not going through your fears and loving yourself into a freedom that has no limits. It’s just action. And action is just so passé. It’s yesterday’s fashion choice.
